Monk’s Mural
This mural was painted over the course of 2 months on the side of Monks House of Ale Repute in downtown Sioux Falls in the summer of 2020. I was inspired by the history of the building and surrounding area and wanted to create an image that celebrated that history. I found an old photograph of a train that would have run right past this building to start with. After that, I manipulated the image to subtly reference the colors and design of the Sioux Falls flag.
